Requirement is to provide (1) MC Machinery Press Brake Model BB6020 or Equivalent with Installation and Training. The Press Brake must have the following Salient Characteristics: Unit must be capable of running off compressed air at 100 PSI or less and/or 220v outlet, unless the manufacture provides and installs a wired transformer to increase current capabilities to match machine requirements. Have precision Servo motors capable of high precision repeatability to within 0.001” A minimum of one servo motor per driving ram, to increase production rates while ensuring strength capabilities. No Hydraulic systems that would require refill, servicing, or the creation of a new waste stream process. A rigid frame capable of handling off-centered loads without frame twist or distortion CNC controlled system with on-board computer that is capable of operating all machine processes and running machine diagnostics Capable of automatic thickness detection without additional input to ensure precise bends without the need of spacing tools A rear safety fence or cage to ensure safety, but that can be opened to service the equipment or retrieve parts. This system bust stop ram operations when opened to prevent injury. It must include a minimum warranty of 18 months on parts and labor from the date of delivery no matter how many hours the shop has put on the unit. See attached file.

The Town of Amherst is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to remove the existing emergency backup generator at the Amherst Fire Station and supply, install, test, and commission a new automatic standby generator system. The system must support the entire fire station during utility power interruptions and include the required labour, materials, engineering, permits, equipment, testing, training, documentation, warranty, and regulatory approvals.
