One of them was the successful environmental clearance through the SQA process and then followed by a bunch of detailed design that is currently underway. What you see before you is the phased packages that public works has been working on. And phase one is a package as you can see that will be ready for dissemination in July.

The Christman Company is the Construction Manager for the new Public Safety Center for Antrim County in Bellaire, Michigan. The project will provide a new facility for Antrim County public safety operations and detention/corrections areas. A previous project manual was Bid Package 1 and pertained to the "make ready" work including excavation/earthwork, asphalt, site concrete, sanitary relocation, and electrical relocation associated with the existing jail and North Courthouse parking lot. Bid Package 1 also included the early procurement of a detention equipment security electronics contractor, and a pre-engineered metal building. This project manual is Bid Package 2 and pertains to the balance of the project's scope including earthwork, asphalt, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, walls \& ceilings, doors, windows, general trades, interior finishes, exterior finishes, structural steel, roofing, etc., for a complete project.
