120th Avenue South & Lake Worth Rd Intersection Roundabout Improvements

Work consists of converting the existing road/avenue intersection into a modern single-lane roundabout. Major elements of construction include: intersection reconstruction: removal of the existing uncontrolled geometry and construction of a modern roundabout to improve traffic flow and provide an overall improvement to intersection safety. Drainage improvements: installation and/or modification of stormwater conveyance systems, structures, canal culverts, and inlets to maintain positive drainage throughout the project limits. Pedestrian accessibility upgrades: construction of ADA-compliant sidewalks, crosswalks, detectable warning surfaces, and associated features to improve pedestrian mobility and safety. Roadway and pavement work: excavation, embankment, base preparation, asphalt paving, curb and gutter, signage, pavement markings, lighting adjustments, and other elements required to complete the roundabout.
