The Smithsonian Institution solicits a firm fixed-price construction contract to furnish and install two new 500 kW natural gas-fueled rooftop generators at the National Museum of American History, replacing an aging diesel generator and including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hazardous materials abatement, and architectural work. Work must maintain full museum operations and public access during construction, requires coordination for collections handling and BIM documentation, and includes testing/commissioning and black-start capability. The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is soliciting contractors to provide and install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the PA Lumber Museum in Potter County, including electrical feeder circuits, trenching/underground conduit, concrete footers, parking modifications, bollards, and commissioning/training.
