Grounds Maintenance RFPs

The City of Harrisonburg, VA (Public Works Department) solicits proposals for snow and ice removal services covering three routes: South Main Street, Downtown Streets, and Downtown Sidewalks/Parking Lots. The contract begins July 1, 2026 for one year with four one-year renewal options and requires licensed operators and specified equipment for each route. Proposals are due June 2, 2026 and the solicitation is for services (not a grant).

Provide Snow Removal services at the School within District. Snow Removal Services for the School & Upper School October 2026 - September 2027; Removal of daily snowfall upon demand with more than 1" of snow & as needed, snowplow Upper and Lower School parking lots after snow storm; Removal of any overnight snowfall as soon as possible; snowplow school parking lots around buildings before school staff arrival 7 a.m.; remove snow buildup on roof of both schools as needed; Move buildup snow away from both school buildings as needed.

Montgomery County Government seeks contractors to provide snow and ice removal services for county parking lots, garages, and sidewalks at County Parking Facilities on an as-needed basis. The solicitation is reserved for vendors registered in Montgomery County's Local Small Business Reserve Program and will be issued through the Maryland Purchasing Group (BidNet) portal. Bids are due June 16, 2026, and the notice was posted May 14, 2026.

Base bid: schedule A - snow removal equipment (sre) building additive alt: schedule bB - concrete floor and sewer service. Additive alt: schedule C - paved approach and access. Additive alt: schedule D - water service improvements. Snow removal equipment building consists of all elements necessary to construct a pre-engineered metal building for storage of the airport’s snow removal equipment. Work generally consists of the construction of a snow removal equipment building (approx., gross size 2,025 SF) with associated utility extensions, and vehicle access to roadway. Work includes sitework to construct the new building to include: surveying, erosion control, excavation, embankment, base course, asphalt paving, stormwater modifications and improvements, utility work, topsoil, seeding and other miscellaneous items. Building items include permitting, foundation and floor concrete, wood or steel framing and erection of trusses, insulation, overhead and man doors, HVAC, roofing, and electrical.

Work includes tree and stump removal.

This project consists of, but is not limited to, providing tree trimming, vegetation management, and landscape debris removal services throughout the Town. Work includes routine and as-needed trimming of trees and vegetation, removal and disposal of landscape debris, and response to minor storm events or hazardous conditions as directed. Services shall be performed on a work order basis and include all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with Town standards and applicable industry guidelines.

The City of Minneapolis is soliciting bids for the 2026-2027 Tree Removal & Disposal contract. This project involves the professional removal and disposal of trees within the city's jurisdiction as part of its public works maintenance. Interested vendors must manage their accounts and submit bids through the city's official eSupplier portal by the June 2026 deadline.

Tree removal services.

Provide trimming and removal of trees that interfere with the city's electric utility transmission and distribution lines.

Conroe Independent School District seeks proposals for Tree Removal Services to perform tree removals across district locations. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Conroe ISD eBid (IonWave) system and bidders must comply with Special Conditions. The solicitation was issued 2026-05-19 and will close on 2026-06-18 at 10:00 AM CT; questions are due by 2026-06-11 at 10:00 AM CT.

This grant was obtained to help the City remove diseased ash trees within the public rights-of-way and replace them with a variety of climate adaptive tree species. This contract also includes three years of tree maintenance to ensure the successful establishment of the replacement trees. The cost of this three-year tree maintenance plan is not part of the grant funding. Costs for this 3-year tree maintenance plan are being paid for by the City. In addition to the tree planting grant work and three years of tree maintenance, this project includes one bid alternate.

Portsmouth Public Schools (VA) issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Tree Trimming & Removal Services soliciting contractors to provide tree trimming and removal work. The solicitation was posted on 2026-05-22 and responses are due by 2026-06-25; the estimated value range is approximately $25,000–$750,000. Snow removal equipment rental services.

The City of Ocoee, Florida is soliciting sealed proposals for RFP #26-007 to provide comprehensive landscaping, landscape maintenance, and mowing services within the City. The work includes regular mowing, maintenance of flower beds, shrubs and trees, irrigation installation/maintenance, seasonal plantings, debris removal, and pest management over a three-year base period with potential renewals. Questions are due by 2026-06-09 and proposals are due by 2026-06-16.

Provide tree and brush removal.

The Lake Worth Drainage District is soliciting pre-qualifications from firms to remove and/or side-trim exotic and hazardous trees and vegetation on District property for a contract period July 2026–June 2027. This is a two-step solicitation where qualified firms will later be invited to submit technical and cost proposals for specific scopes of work as needs arise. The posting is an active Request for Qualification with a submission deadline of June 8, 2026.

The Escambia County CRA Hazardous Tree Removal Program is seeking quotes for hazardous tree removal services at 513 South 1st St., Pensacola, Florida. This procurement is part of a community redevelopment initiative to address hazardous vegetation in the area. The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by the start of June 2026.

Removal of roadside tree debris from designated roads.

The NYS Office of General Services (OGS) is soliciting bids (IFB #3111) to provide snow plowing, ice/snow removal, and salting services at the Senator Hughes State Office Building and associated parking lots in Syracuse, NY. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 9, 2026 and the agency will accept bidder questions through June 23, 2026, with responses expected by June 30, 2026. Bids are due July 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time and OGS intends to award one contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
