The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation, issued an RFP (OSM PA(MAP-26)) seeking aerial photography, surveying, photogrammetric/topographic mapping and related field surveying services to support abandoned mine land reclamation, mine fire control, abatement of acid mine drainage, and flood protection projects across Pennsylvania. The contract term is five years and will cover projects primarily in the Bituminous and Anthracite coal fields of Western and Northeastern Pennsylvania. The solicitation requires insurance and vendor certifications and includes small business and veteran preferences; vendor questions must be submitted to the Issuing Officer via the provided agency email.

GIS is a complex system of databases and software applications (including but not limited to: Global Positioning Systems, Computer-Aided Drafting, and ESRI software/applications) to capture, store, check and display, analyze data, and produce information related to the surface of the Earth. The data exists as tables, models, maps, and spectral imagery.

The U.S. Embassy in Guatemala City, under the U.S. Department of State, has issued Solicitation 19GT5026Q0043 seeking a qualified contractor to deliver GIS digital map files for Guatemala, along with associated software, training, and system support. The contractor will update the Embassy's existing GIS management tools and develop a new geocoder capable of converting street addresses into geographic coordinates for mapping, supporting International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) program operations. This will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, with all manuals and documentation required in Spanish and open-source software maintained at its latest stable version.

Pitkin County, Colorado is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the provision of Hazard Mapping and Land Use Code Update Services for the County's Geohazard, Fluvial Hazard, and Floodplain Hazard Mapping Update project (Bid 089.26). The work involves updating hazard maps and the associated land use regulatory code for geohazard, fluvial hazard, and floodplain hazard areas within the county. The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), through its Moldova country office, has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ UNFPA-MDA-00014) to procure a vendor that will conduct a baseline survey and field mapping of local grievances in the Republic of Moldova. This is a procurement (Request for Quotation) — not a grant program — and vendors must register and submit their bids through UNFPA's Quantum platform. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Alaska District is soliciting qualifications for an Indefinite Delivery Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Survey, Mapping, and Related Services, primarily across various locations in Alaska and the Pacific Rim. The government intends to award three firm-fixed-price contracts with a combined shared capacity of $9.5 million over a five-year ordering period, with individual task orders ranging from $10,000 to $300,000. This unrestricted procurement is open to all firms regardless of size, with selection based on demonstrated competence and qualifications submitted via SF 330 by July 31, 2026 at 2:00 pm AKDT.

Conduct bedrock geologic mapping for the north half of the 1:24,000-scale. Entities that conduct bedrock geologic mapping will be responsible for collecting field data and creating geologic maps that show the spatial distribution of bedrock composition and structure including mineralogy, lithology, and the orientation of ductile and brittle structures such as regional and local folds, faults, schistosity, cleavage, lineations and fracture trends. The U.S. Army Contracting Command at the Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the Army Information Enterprise - Information Technology Services (AIE-ITS) program. The RFI seeks industry input on capabilities to support IT services across the Army's information enterprise. Responses are being used solely for planning and acquisition strategy purposes and will not result in a contract award.

Wayne State University has issued a solicitation titled 'Information' related to the education industry. The RFP was opened on May 10, 2026, and is currently seeking proposals with a closing date that is yet to be determined. The Government Authority in Martinsville, Virginia (an independent city) is seeking a vendor to provide Consultant Program Services, which includes GIS and GIS-Centric Platform Support Services such as GIS mapping, cartographic services, GIS database development and maintenance, integration with asset management systems, and web-based/mobile GIS application development. Other consultant services in scope include grant writing and funding assistance, professional surveying, economic development advisory, and architectural services such as facility condition assessments and construction engineering/inspections. Proposals are submitted digitally via email or online, with work performed onsite in the United States only.

Modern service delivery models to modernize the army intelligence enterprise (AIE).

Teton County Emergency Management (TCEM), a division of Jackson Hole Fire/EMS, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to develop a countywide Protective Actions Operational Framework and Decision Support System for Teton County, Wyoming and the Town of Jackson. The selected contractor will provide project management, emergency management planning, GIS development, transportation and access analysis, legal review, stakeholder facilitation, and HSEEP-compliant exercise support. The resulting framework will support consistent, rapid protective-action decisions across all-hazards incidents and is expected to be performed over an approximately 12–18 month period.

Teton County Emergency Management seeks a multidisciplinary team to develop a countywide Protective Actions Operational Framework and Decision Support System, including a Protective Action Zone System and GIS-based decision-support integrated with the County’s ArcGIS Online environment. The scope includes transportation and access analysis, legal review, stakeholder facilitation, development of operational decision-support tools, and HSEEP-compliant exercises (seminar, tabletop, and full-scale) to validate the framework. The project is expected to last roughly 12–18 months and requires contractor-led project management, emergency management planning, GIS development, and exercise support.
