Provision of background check services to ensure the University’s academic and research missions are promoted by qualified employees, in a safe and secure environment.

The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) requests proposals for global pre-employment background screening services to support domestic and international hiring, including criminal, education, and employment verifications and integration with Workday ATS. The contract is anticipated to begin on September 1, 2026, for one year with up to six one-year renewal options and requires vendors to demonstrate experience in global screening, provide insurance proof, and comply with Maryland registration and MBE requirements. The solicitation covers screenings worldwide and includes additional services such as credit and motor vehicle checks as position-specific requirements.

The University of Regina is requesting information on a solution for HR-Criminal Record Checks. The RFI seeks to understand available market solutions focusing on data sources, verification methods, data storage, privacy, security, integration capabilities with HR systems, candidate experience, turnaround times, and cost structures. The information gathered may be used to inform a future Request for Tender or Proposal.

In general, the work consists of: a wastewater screening station including a two-level building, mechanical bar screen, screenings compactor, and miscellaneous appurtenances; surface and pavement restoration; work zone traffic control; and erosion and sediment control measures, restoration, cleanup and miscellaneous appurtenant facilities required to complete construction.

Furnish and supply security screening equipment.

The Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking a vendor to provide statewide drug testing and screening services for families served by the Department. The solicitation aims to secure comprehensive alcohol and drug testing capabilities across the state. Proposals for this request are due by July 13, 2026.

Entry screening equipment.

This RFP, issued for the Michigan Newborn Screening (NBS) Program, requests a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) plus installation, configuration, integration, and ongoing maintenance and support to improve NBS data management and reporting. The contract requires compliance with data security, a disaster recovery plan, and specified service level agreements; proposals must include a completed Pricing Schedule and other required schedules. The State of Vermont's Office of Purchasing & Contracting (Buildings & General Services) issued an RFP titled 'Criminal Justice Information Exchange' seeking development and implementation services for a criminal justice information exchange system. Proposal documents and updates are available on the buyer's Vermont Business Registry bid listing and the buyer's bid page; vendors should monitor the buyer's posting for notifications and amendments. The solicitation closes on June 26, 2026 at 4:30 PM ET (2026-06-26T20:30:00Z).

The Newborn Screening Unit, a department within the DSHS Community Health Improvement Division and Maternal and Child Health Section, will provide funding to one or more universities to recruit and establish up to three paid practicums. The practicums are available to medical students (referred to as “participants”) to inspire work in the field specialty of medical genetics and its importance in public health.

The South Carolina Department of Public Health is soliciting statewide courier services to transport newborn screening specimens from hospitals and medical centers across South Carolina to designated laboratories, requiring daily service to listed facilities and a submitted pricing sheet with a fuel surcharge formula. The solicitation includes multiple attachments and a non-mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled for June 4, 2026. Proposals are due by July 2, 2026, at 2:30 PM local time.

American sign language (ASL) interpreters, english-based signed transliterators, and deaf interpreters.

The Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH) is soliciting pre-qualified Screening Evaluators to assess the communication skills of sign language interpreters and transliterators. Evaluators must meet training and experience requirements, will be compensated on a fee-for-service basis, and the contract period runs through June 30, 2027 with a maximum potential duration of up to ten years.
