Newborn Screening Interns and Residents in Training

Description: The Newborn Screening Unit, a department within the DSHS Community Health Improvement Division and Maternal and Child Health Section, will provide funding to one or more universities to recruit and establish up to three paid practicums. The practicums are available to medical students (referred to as “participants”) to inspire work in the field specialty of medical genetics and its importance in public health.
