The government anticipates a single firm fixed‑price contract in the $25M–$100M range and will use a single‑phase RFP (Best Value) acquisition strategy if a solicitation is later issued. Responses to this market research notice are due March 10, 2026, and the notice is for planning/market research only.

The City of Amarillo is soliciting bids for the design, equipment, and installation of an FAA Index B Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) simulator at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport. The scope includes a 50-foot aircraft mockup, fuel spill mockup, propane-fueled live fire generation system, and associated safety and monitoring systems. Proposals are due March 12, 2026, and the award will be based on best value with requirements for bonding, insurance, and compliance with prevailing wage standards.

Fabrication and installation of new center console slatwall, mounts, miscellaneous accessories, and equipment. All consoles are to be secured per the ibc for seismic design (assume i factor 1. 5) d. Installation/relocation of electrical circuits and light switches to the new console. All electrical work must be in compliance with faa specification 1217h and faa-std- 019g. E.
