Village of Mayfield

Phase 1 of the Implementable Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Chautauqua and Village of Mayville focuses on addressing key community issues identified through public and stakeholder engagement. The plan prioritizes four key areas: Economic Vitality (sustaining a prosperous mix of economic opportunities while preserving the natural landscape, attracting new businesses, and leveraging tourism); Land Use and Development (preserving critical resources and green space, creating a future land use map, and applying Smart Growth principles); Housing and Community Livability (enhancing quality of life, addressing housing market challenges, improving recreation areas, and expanding broadband access); and Mobility and Access (building a safe, accessible network of routes connecting people to important destinations, improving pedestrian safety, and expanding public transportation). The plan aims to create a thriving community that balances economic growth with environmental protection and community well-being.
