The Board of Review convened to evaluate and approve construction applications for four single-family residences. The board reviewed and approved the signage application for "Store of Tappan - Deals & Discounts," located at 33-35 Route 303, Tappan. Key findings included specifications for an aluminum fabricated LED light cabinet, wall-mounting details with L-brackets, white lettering on a black background, and established hours of operation for the signage.

The Board meeting focused on zoning variance applications. The Board reviewed a continued application for property at 96 Summit Avenue. Additionally, the Board heard and approved a request from River View Property Holdings, LLC, for side yard and gravel driveway variances regarding the demolition and reconstruction of a residence and caretaker's cottage. The Board determined the project was a Type II action exempt from SEQRA and concluded that the benefits of the requested variances outweighed any detriment to the neighborhood.

The board reviewed several items, including the continued site plan review for the Databank Orangeburg Phase Two project and a request for the postponement of the FedEx Ground Expansion site plan and parking improvements.

The board reviewed two primary applications. The first involved an application for an in-ground pool, spa, fire pit, patios, retaining walls, entry pillars, and gate, which was approved as presented. The second application was for an amendment regarding an entry door, hardware, lighting, and exterior elevations, which was approved as amended.
