Pavement base will be compacted recycled asphalt product repurposed from the project site. Areas of the project outside the linear box cut require full depth reclaimed asphalt. The reclamation will pulverize the full depth of pavement and into the gravel base. The reclaimed asphalt will be graded and compacted in place below the new 3" hma base and 1" hma surface. The project includes the installation of type i granite curb along the south side of the maritime museum on main street. The project includes striping the facility to pre-existing traffic and parking patterns. The bid includes a bid alternative for eight (8) improvements to main street.
