A public hearing is scheduled to discuss the proposed 2017 budget. Additionally, a special town meeting of the electors will be held to approve the total 2017 highway expenditures and to adopt the 2017 tax levy.

The Town of Rudolph Comprehensive Plan serves as a roadmap for the Town's long-term development, mandated by Wisconsin Statutes. It addresses nine core elements: issues and opportunities, housing, transportation, utilities and community facilities, agricultural, natural and cultural elements, economic development, intergovernmental cooperation, land use, and implementation. The plan prioritizes preserving the Town's rural character, managing land use to balance development with environmental protection, ensuring adequate and affordable housing, providing safe and efficient transportation, delivering essential utilities and community facilities, supporting small-scale economic development, and fostering collaborative intergovernmental relationships. The overarching vision is to guide land use decisions and regulatory activities to promote sustainable growth and enhance the quality of life for residents.

This document serves as the 2020 update to the Town of Rudolph's comprehensive plan, fulfilling the statutory requirement for a ten-year review. The update indicates minimal significant changes in the town's character over the past decade, maintaining its rural, bedroom community status. Key adjustments include minor transportation designation changes, increased solid waste provider options, clarified zoning for communication towers, continued support for home-based businesses, and the establishment of a town website for enhanced communication. The updated plan is deemed to continue meeting the town's needs.
