Town of Dove Creek

This document outlines the strategic goals for the Town of Dove Creek, aiming to inspire and sustain a dynamic, innovative, and prosperous community. The agenda for the Regular Meeting included a Workshop session dedicated to Community Planning. The Board Meeting involved calls to order and pledges, followed by action on the agenda and consent agenda. Consent items included the approval of previous regular meeting minutes, expenditure vouchers, Parks and Recreation expenditures, and a liquor license renewal for Banger's Bar & Pizza Place. New Business included consideration and possible action on a resolution to change the rate schedule, a resolution to cancel the April 7, 2026, Municipal Election, advertising for board vacancies, the Awning Project for Parks and Recreation, legal publication designation, a Lot Split Request, and a schedule change for the March Town Board meeting. Old Business topics covered the CDOT Contract, School Tap Consolidation Request, First Weber Update, DSV Next Steps, an Enforcement Order for the Montezuma Water Contract, Sludge Removal, and a DOLA Grant Application. The session concluded with an Executive Session for Contract Negotiations.

The meeting will include a public hearing for comments on the proposed 2023 budget, followed by the adoption of resolutions for the budget, appropriation of funds, and setting mill levies. Other agenda items include resolutions to set monthly charges for water and sanitation, and the creation of a street and capital improvement fund and a town park and recreation fund.
