The Town of Dodgeville Board of Supervisors reviewed the Compliance Maintenance 2008 Annual Report and approved Resolution 2009-263.

The 2024 Board of Review will verify that at least one member has completed mandatory training, receive and summarize the Annual Assessment Report, and receive the assessment roll and sworn statements from the Clerk. Procedures of operation and hearings will be established, objection forms reviewed, objections heard, and hearings scheduled. The assessment roll will be reviewed, statutory duties performed, and other motions and waivers considered.

The Iowa County Comprehensive Plan's Economic Development Element analyzes business, industry, and employment trends. It sets policy for economic growth and identifies strategies to improve the economy, focusing on employment status, labor force participation, income levels, and industry/occupation data. The plan includes policy recommendations such as forming a countywide economic development corporation, annual funding for economic development, creating community funds, utilizing training programs, developing online community profiles, promoting tourism and historic preservation, conducting housing needs assessments, and utilizing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and Tourism, Agriculture, Forestry (TAF) laws. The plan also addresses brownfield sites and includes detailed data on labor force characteristics, income, and poverty levels within the county and its various towns and villages. The overall vision is to balance rural character with economic vitality, preserving natural resources while providing opportunities for residents of all ages and backgrounds.

The Land Use Committee meeting included presentations from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Driftless Area Land Conservancy on water resources in the area, focusing on watersheds, groundwater susceptibility, and water quality issues. Discussions covered the impact of urban areas, intensive farming, and unsewered homes on water resources, as well as the need for protecting recharge areas. The committee also reviewed and approved rural residential siting criteria to be submitted to SWWRPC.
