Sole Source: If sale is less than $50,000, use sole source.
Coops: Ask to buy via Sourcewell (city participates). If not a fit, confirm eligibility to use Wisconsin VendorNet statewide contracts or OMNIA Partners.

The committee reviewed and recommended approval for several licensing applications, including retail liquor licenses, changes of agent for tobacco and liquor licenses, and a massage establishment license renewal. Key discussions also included a proposed ordinance regarding unleashed animals and dog parks, a review of the licensed premises report, and formal expressions of concern regarding specific businesses following a police report.
The Commission held a closed session to deliberate on the potential acquisition of public properties, the investment of public funds, and to receive legal advice regarding ongoing litigation related to the Racine Area Intergovernmental Sanitary Sewer Service, Revenue-Sharing, Cooperation and Settlement Agreement. Following the closed session, the commission approved amendments to the professional service agreement with Strand Associates for $60,000, authorized an extension on taking action regarding a Material Change in Circumstance claim, and resolved to pursue the legal strategy discussed during the closed proceedings.
