It focuses on increasing the number of graduates by strategically addressing factors such as the under-education in higher education in Central New York, the expected regional growth due to investments like Micron Technology, and the expansion of existing major employers. The plan also emphasizes adapting to global demographic shifts, expanding access to education for the global middle class, and leveraging SUNY Oswego's existing strengths to build new programs and attract more students.
