The strategic plan focuses on creating opportunities for innovation in teaching and learning, strengthening student awareness of college and career pathways, cultivating student ownership in learning, and assessing critical life skills such as problem-solving. It aims to maintain high enrollment in Pre-K programs, increase the percentage of students meeting or exceeding standards on MCA III Math Assessments, ensure all students are career- and college-ready upon graduation, and maintain a 100% 4-year graduation rate.

The Spring Grove Local Literacy Plan aims to have every student reading at or above grade level, including multilingual learners and students receiving special education services. The plan focuses on increasing the percentage of students meeting their Rate of Improvement Growth Gain on Fastbridge assessments by 2% each year. It includes universal and dyslexia screening, parent notification and involvement, core reading instruction and curricula for grades K-12, data-based decision making for literacy interventions, and a professional development plan. The district will pilot state-selected reading curriculums and continue to monitor data and progress through the MTSS structure.
