The Supervisors addressed several matters related to wartime administration. Key actions included the unanimous appointment of Mr. G. S. Kent to fill a vacancy on the Local War Price Rationing Board. A motion was passed to donate $400.00 to the United Service Organization drive for county funds. Additionally, resolutions were adopted regarding office space allocations, effective July 1, 1942, requiring Mrs. Haislop and Miss Allison to share an office, assigning the Selective Service Board to a new location, and designating the Commonwealth Attorney's office for War Price Ration Board No. 89-1. Furthermore, the Board authorized a monthly rent payment of $15.00 to T. Stokeley Coleman for the use of his office as the Commonwealth Attorney's office, commencing July 1942.

Election staff added hand count ballots and ran provisional ballots through the tabulator.
