Mequon, City of

The Common Council adopted the annual budget and appropriated funds for the operation of the government and administration of the City of Mequon for the year 2026, levying taxes for the same. The budget includes property taxes to support the annual budget, with the final tax rate determined by the statutory property tax billing process. A tax was levied upon all taxable property within the City of Mequon for the uses and purposes set forth in the budget. The City Clerk was authorized to spread the tax upon the current tax roll of the City of Mequon.

The plan is intended to be updated every five years to remain eligible for park and recreation grants and ensure it remains relevant to the community's needs.
