Sole Source: If sale is less than $2,500, use sole source.
Coops: If your product is on a cooperative the County uses, lead with that to bypass the low bid threshold; for IT, route through SHI, CDW-G, or GovConnection.
Kittitas County, WA occasionally approves sole source for unique needs when the product is proprietary and essential for compatibility or specific security requirements. Work with the end-user department to prepare a sole source justification for the Board of Commissioners, citing RCW 39.04.280(1)(a).
