Provide qualified engineering firms - the selected firm will provide technical analysis, detailed designs, construction drawings, specifications, and secure necessary site plan approvals for installing permanent sanitary sewer flow meters. These meters will be placed at all points where the sewer collection system discharges into the sewer system. The project involves designing sanitary sewer flow meters and sensors to measure effluent flow in gallons through the sanitary sewer outfall lines to sewer treatment facilities. Additionally, these flow meters will be utilized for inflow & infiltration (i&i) studies. These studies will measure, identify, and quantify unwanted water entering the sewer system during weather events, aiding in pinpointing problem areas, prioritizing repairs, and enhancing overall system efficiency and capacity.
