The mission of the District is to provide comprehensive, success-oriented learning activities for young people. These activities aim to develop individuals' potential in academic ability, vocational awareness, cultural appreciation, physical well-being, social development, and community contribution.

The District's Early Learning Plan includes an Early Mathematics Plan and an additional goal (literacy or mathematics). The plan must be specific, measurable, data-driven, address performance gaps, and include improvement strategies. The Early Mathematics Plan incorporates conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, strategic thinking, and productive disposition. It also includes a district growth goal (at least 60% of students in grades 1-3 meeting the goal) and a district-specific goal addressing performance gaps. Annual reporting to parents on student assessment results and to the Board on assessment data is required, along with annual progress reports to the State Superintendent.
