The Bullhead City Council meeting included discussions on the summer camp, city budget workshop, the grand opening of The Abbott, Highway 95 and Merrill Intersection, and the right turn lane at Mohave High/Thunderstruck. The council also discussed and acted on an appeal regarding a Conditional Use Permit for a proposed RV storage facility, approved an intergovernmental agreement with the State of Arizona for scoping work related to a potential raised median on the Bullhead Parkway, and approved a change order for the Wet Well Rehabilitation at Lift Station 18-1. Additionally, they approved an amendment to the agreement for the Laughlin Ranch Well 1 New Pump Installation, adopted a resolution approving an amendment to the System Conservation Implementation Agreement with the United States Bureau of Reclamation, and approved a Management and Use Agreement for Bullhead City Middle School Athletic Fields. The council also approved an agreement for animal cremation equipment for the Bullhead City Animal Resource Center, and an intergovernmental agreement between Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City Municipal Courts for weekend and holiday coverage services. A public hearing was held to discuss the intent to increase water and wastewater rates, but no action was taken. The council recommended approval of a bar license application for The Pour House. Approvals were granted for a Memorandum of Understanding with Lake Havasu City for shared use of the police department's radio system, a budget amendment for the development of shade structures and paths for the Rotary Park pickleball courts, and the removal of a traffic median. The southwest beach area within Rotary Park was named "Sandy Toes Beach," and rules for the dog beach were approved. Council members were appointed to the Western Arizona Council of Governments (WACOG) Executive Board and the Rural Transportation Advocacy Council (RTAC). The new ADA Mobility Ramp in Community Park was named the "Ciaran Riley and Friends ADA Mobility Ramp".
