Window Security Film Install RFP

Description: The Contractor shall remove existing film from the designated lobby windows and doors, prepare the glass surfaces, and furnish and install new 8-mil safety/security reflective window film with a structural (wet-glaze) perimeter sealant system. The primary film type is Solar Gard Armorcoat 8 Mil Silver 20, or 3M Scotchshield Safety & Security Ultra S800 paired with an Exterior Reflective Mirrored Film, or equal, installed on the appropriate surfaces of the glass in accordance with manufacturer instructions. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, protection of existing finishes, cleanup, and coordination necessary to provide a complete and functional system on the specified glazing, totaling approx. 230 SF. All work shall be performed at the Region I Maynard facility during agreed-upon hours and in coordination with facility operations and security.
