Grand Strand Water & Sewer Authority is seeking bids for the Bucksport WWTP 10 MGD Expansion, which would increase the Bucksport wastewater treatment plant’s rated capacity from 5 MGD to 10 MGD. The project includes new influent pumping, preliminary treatment, oxidation ditches, secondary clarifiers, sludge pumping, and additional dewatering equipment. The estimated project cost is $85,000,000, financed partly through a State Revolving Fund loan and partly with local funds to improve treatment, reliability, redundancy, and capacity for service-area growth.
