Work of the project generally includes construction of a new 2.0 mgd water treatment plant to replace the existing 1.2 mgd treatment plant originally constructed in 1950. The new water treatment plant upgrade is to be constructed within the existing plant property boundaries. The work also includes the construction of a new duplex pump station within the water distribution system to replace the existing station originally constructed in 1978.

Work includes remove, inspect, repair, modify, test, and reinstall the vertical turbine & split case horizontal high service pumps; work shall include removal of the motor from the discharge head (electrical disconnected by city staff) and set aside in a location directed by the city staff, removal of the pump assembly, transport of pumps to a local service center, complete teardown and inspection, development of a repair quotation, completion of approved repairs, reassembly, testing, return transport, reinstallation, and final field startup/testing.
