Transportation Management Center Operations (RFP)

Description: Transportation Management Centers (TMC) are a coordinated effort for efficient and effective traffic monitoring, traffic incident detection and verification, traffic incident response, HELP and Rural Service Patrol (RSP) dispatching, intra- and inter-agency communication, traveler information, and performance monitoring and reporting by the State. The primary objectives of the TMC are to enhance safety, reduce incident duration, reduce secondary incidents, and improve traffic flow on interstates and other state highways.
