Traffic Records Program - (Request for Proposal)
Kick off meeting: Within two (2) weeks after the contract award, the Contractor shall meet with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and interested NHTSA staff via teleconference for no more than two (2) hours. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the objectives, for the contract administration, and the ordering procedures for issuing task orders. Assessments: One responsibility of NHTSA’s Traffic Records Team is to assess State traffic records systems. Specifically, to assess State capabilities and compare them with standards developed by a national group of subject matter experts and outlined in the Traffic Records Program Assessment Advisory, 2018 Edition (See Attachment J.4). The Contractor shall deploy a group of subject matter experts to evaluate how States respond to a uniform set of questions about their crash, driver, vehicle, roadway, citation and adjudication, and injury surveillance data systems, as well as responses to questions about how states manage their traffic records coordinating committee, strategic planning, and data integration. All assessments shall be conducted online using the TRIPRS application. See attached file.
