Theater Rigging Control System Modernization RFP

Description: The Contractor shall provide a new theatrical rigging control system. The theatrical rigging control system must integrate a full turnkey solution, which provides centralized control for the following existing motorized scenic and rigging systems, which currently operate as independent or semi-independent subsystems within a legacy control architecture. Existing cable paths and wall penetrations shall be re-used to the extent possible. The system must operate reliably in a live-performance environment, where motion failures or uncontrolled movement present life-safety risks. All systems shall remain mechanically intact unless field conditions or safety verification require corrective modification. The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring compatibility between legacy control interfaces and the new centralized control architecture, including any required isolation, translation, or interfacing of legacy motor control systems.
