Description: Perform approx. 40,000' rail construction to accommodate unit trains and railcar storage, repurpose a 50-acre former casting basin site into a breakbulk cargo handling and laydown area, access and roadway improvements, and site improvements. Work includes: Demolition, mass earthwork, site preparation, retaining wall construction, culverting, subsurface utility work, storm drainage improvements, paving, rail construction, lighting, fencing, and new guard station includes 6,148 LF track subdrain - 8" perf, 430 LF 12" ductile iron pipe, 480 LF 18" concrete pipe class V, 3,525 LF storm sewer testing, 1 EA distribution power pole relocation, 949 LF 12" steel casing pipe, 14 LF water 6" DI pipe, 301 LF water 6" PVC pipe, 768 LF sanitary sewer pipe RCP 27", 2 EA sanitary sewer type 2 manhole 54".
