Temporary Housing (Request for Proposal)

Description: The Contractor shall provide and maintain multiple fully furnished temporary emergency-housing units to be used exclusively by clients of the County Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The program is designed to offer short-term, stable housing that supports client safety, wellbeing, and progress toward long-term housing stability. County is seeking qualified firms for the provision and management of temporary housing units dedicated exclusively to Health and Human Services (HHS) program recipients. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, turnkey solution that includes securing and maintaining three emergency temporary‑housing units. Required services encompass all rental and utility expenses, security deposits, furnishings, and routine as well as turnover cleaning. The goal of this program is to ensure safe, stable, and fully supported short‑term housing for individuals and families in crisis while they work with HHS toward long‑term stability. The term of the contract will commence on or about January 1, 2027 and shall be for a period of two (2) years, with an option to extend for three (3) additional one (1) year periods, under the same terms and conditions, and by mutual consent of both parties.
