TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OPPORTUNITY: Universal Power Converter for a Lunar Power Grid (LEW-TOPS-181)

Description: NASA's Technology Transfer Program is soliciting inquiries from companies interested in obtaining license rights to commercialize, manufacture, and market the Universal Modular Interface Converter (UMIC), a bidirectional, modular AC/DC power converter designed to connect lunar surface power assets and enable power sharing over long distances between sources and loads. License rights may be issued on an exclusive or nonexclusive basis and may include specific fields of use, and NASA provides no funding in conjunction with these potential licenses. Interested companies should submit a license application through NASA's Automated Technology Licensing Application System (ATLAS) at https://technology.nasa.gov/patent/LEW-TOPS-181 by the August 24, 2027 response date, and no follow-on procurement is expected to result from responses to this notice.
