TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OPPORTUNITY: Universal Power Converter for a Lunar Power Grid (LEW-TOPS-181)

Description: NASA is seeking companies interested in licensing the Universal Modular Interface Converter, a bidirectional AC/DC converter for connecting lunar surface power assets and enabling long-distance power sharing. The technology can connect a 120 V DC space power bus to a medium-to-high-voltage, three-phase AC grid and is intended to support lunar, spacecraft, space-station, and future Mars power systems. This is a technology-transfer and licensing opportunity rather than a grant or conventional procurement, and NASA does not manufacture products for commercial sale.
