Description: Toronto Transit Commission - PCM Capital is inviting tenders for overhead and underground cable work supporting TTC subway and streetcar operations. The contract covers planned and emergency repair, installation, removal and replacement of traction-power and AC cables, associated protection systems, duct banks, aerial supports and distribution systems. The contractor must provide the necessary labour, equipment and materials, while TTC will supply traction-power feeder cable at no cost.

Perform tree trimming, vegetation removal, and line-of-sight clearing services along the designated streetcar routes. Provide a 4 5-foot clearance by cutting back all tree branches hanging over powerlines and branches growing into or through RTA catenary (overhead contact) lines. Trim, remove, or cut back all vegetation and brush that obstructs visibility along the designated streetcar line.
