Description: The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a turnkey cloud-hosted (UCaaS) or hybrid unified communications solution to replace the existing telephony environment across multiple academic and administrative campus buildings. Key project components include the replacement of the existing on-premises phone system, migration to SIP-based calling, native integration with Microsoft Teams as the primary user interface, and provisioning of physical Power over Ethernet (PoE) desk phones, softphones, and mobile calling options. The solution requires full compliance with federal, state, and local E911 regulations—including Kari's Law and the RAY BAUM's Act—with dynamic location tracking down to the building, floor, and room level. Additional project deliverables encompass system configuration, testing, cutover, number porting, user and administrator training, complete knowledge transfer, and ongoing maintenance, support, and service-level commitments.
