Description: The existing floor mounted unit ventilators and cabinet heaters within these spaces have reached the end of their useful service life, resulting in reliability, comfort, energy-efficiency, noise and maintainability concerns. There are approximately 19 new fan coil units to be located above the ceiling space complete with hydronic heating and full economizer operation. In conjunction with the mechanical work, interior finishes in areas affected by the HVAC upgrades have exceeded their expected life and will be upgraded which includes window replacement and ceiling repair around the new units, and cabinet modifications.

LFLHS: HVAC Renovations for Gyms / Classrooms RFP
DESIGN/BUILD: The project consists of two (2) packages worked as one (1) project. The first package is for the replacement of HVAC equipment in the gym area. It includes the removal of existing cabinet unit heaters, exhaust fans, and associated controls. This package will install new rooftop units for the middle school and high school gym, new cabinet unit heaters, and exhaust fans for the locker rooms. The second package consists of replacing HVAC equipment in the classroom area. This second package will remove existing HVAC equipment, which consists of a combination of unit ventilators, ducted fan coil units, and vestibule cabinet unit heaters. New installations will mimic the existing systems install.

Village Hall HVAC Renovation Project RFP
Project includes replacement of five existing packaged rooftop units. Three of the rooftop units are VAV, DX cooling-only units, and two of the rooftop units are heating (natural gas) and DX cooling CAV units. Furthermore, this project requires the replacement of an estimated twenty-three VAV boxes with hot water coils. The contractor shall verify if additional existing VAV boxes are found once ceilings are removed. An existing five-ton DX split system for the gym and associated hot water coil shall also be replaced. Lastly, a new building management system for control of equipment must be installed.
