Sterling 9+1 Bay VSF RFP

Description: Work includes construction of a new 9+1-bay Vehicle Storage Facility (VSF) in an existing CDOT maintenance yard. The new VSF shall be a 10,000 gross square foot pre-engineered metal building (PEMB). The VSF will contain an administration bay with mezzanine and nine 20’-0” x 50’-0” bays used to store CDOT plow trucks, two of which shall be wash bays with waterproofed finishes and fixtures. The flooring shall be concrete slab-on-grade with a 20-foot concrete apron at the overhead doors.

The project will consist of removing all existing roofing materials and installing a new 30-year roof and insulation system on a flat roof measuring approximately 5,664 square feet in area the project will also include modifications to the existing roof drains, restoration of stone coping, and replacement of a skylight, membrane flashing, and perimeter sheet metal fascia. Any hazardous material abatement will be performed concurrent with this project and will be performed by a separate contractor.
