SR 16, Burley Creeks - Remove Fish Barriers - Design-Build *Advance Notice* RFP

Description: Provide fish passage at four crossings of SR 16 in Kitsap County with fish passable structures in compliance with the federal injunction regarding fish passage underneath WSDOT highways. This project will remove existing barriers to fish migration at the following SR 16 stream crossings and replace them with fish-passable structures. Project construction includes to building new water crossing structures, surveying, construction staging and maintenance of traffic, temporary illumination, constructing embankment, grading, retaining walls, channel grading and stream restoration, temporary stream bypass, fish exclusion, culvert removal or abandonment, paving, and pavement marking, stormwater drainage, signing, erosion and sediment control, and roadside planting.
