South Flores Street (Commerce Street to Martin Street) RFP

Description: Work inlcudes removed and replaced, narrowing the street and widening the sidewalk. Sidewalks over basements will need to be carefully removed, waterproofing applied to the area, and replacing the sidewalk. In 2 locations, sidewalks over basements will be demolished and reconstructed with a new supporting understructure. Sidewalk topping will be used, there will be minor street reconstruction. Most street work will consists of mill & overlay with new concrete bus pads installed, including signage and lane markings. New traffic signals, storm sewer trunkline will be replaced, street trees and irrigation will also be included.
