Skyline College Athletics Branding

Description: The San Mateo County Community College District (“District”) for its Skyline College is seeking a qualified branding and design agency to evaluate and strengthen the visual identity of the College’s Athletics program. The project will establish a more cohesive approach to Athletics branding while ensuring that individual team identities are clearly connected to and supportive of the overall Skyline College brand. The selected agency will evaluate the branding currently used across all eight Skyline College athletic teams, including logos, monikers, colors, typography, and other visual elements appearing on uniforms, social media channels, marketing and promotional materials, banners, signage, and other applications. The agency will assess the relationship between existing Athletics identities and the broader Skyline College brand and provide recommendations for creating greater consistency and brand recognition. The project will culminate in Athletics branding standards that can be applied across all teams, as well as the refinement or redesign of visual identities for up to three of the College’s eight athletic teams. This Informal RFP is NOT a formal competitive bid or proposal process. The District may or may not, at its sole discretion, award a contract to a proposer of its choosing for the services or products described in this document. If a contract is awarded, the District’s intention is to award a six-month agreement. Vendors submitting proposals are encouraged to review the District’s Standard Services Agreement attached as a sample only as Attachment E.
