Robotics Renovation RFP

Description: Project consists of an interior remodel of an existing instruction plastics lab into a modern instructional robotics lab and classroom. The project includes approximately 6,600 gross square feet located on the first floor at technical college's. The work will include, but is not limited to: minor demolition work includes selective demolition of partial walls, a paint booth and supporting ductwork, cooling, and sprinkler piping, replacement of an existing sink with a multi-station wash fountain, as well as light fixture relocation, cabling removal, panel and device removal. Minor construction work includes partial walls and a ‘lid’ to create a larger sound isolated instructional classroom space with acoustically treated walls and ceiling, interior doors, interior windows, frames, hardware, wire mesh partitions, and finishes. HVAC support for the classroom, infill of an existing trench drain, sprinkler piping modifications and additions, and electrical power, lighting, and device layout modifications to support the revised layout and function of the lab and classroom spaces.
