RFQ-1001537 (Large Capacity Steam Sterilizer (Autoclave))

Description: Iowa State University is soliciting bids for a large-capacity, facility-connected steam sterilizer (autoclave) to support undergraduate microbiology teaching laboratories in Science I Hall. The unit will be used daily for sterilization of biohazardous waste, decontamination of reusable laboratory equipment and glassware, and preparation of sterile microbiological media for instructional activities. All services related to removing the existing unit as well as providing and installing the new equipment should be included in offers. Suppliers should read all materials carefully and note the due date. Suppliers must direct all questions and comments in reference to this RFP/RFQ to the University Representative using the QUESTIONS tab via this e-procurement system.
