RFP 26-1636 Engine and Generator Repair and Maintenance

Description: Alberta has recently adopted Alberta Time (ABT) - (UTC-06:00) moving from the previous Mountain Daylight Time or (MDT) – (UTC – 7:00) effective November 1st, 2026. The time zones displayed in Discovery postings, Proposals and Questionnaires are based on each user’s computer time settings. SAP has advised Alberta users who encounter incorrect time zone displays to temporarily change their computer’s time zone to Saskatchewan (UTC -6:00). The City of Calgary is seeking a qualified supplier to provide ongoing inspection and preventative maintenance, testing, servicing, troubleshooting, repair and return-to-service support for critical engines, generators and associated controls and auxiliaries on an as required basis. The approximate Pump engine output ratings range from 13 HP to 1,395 HP. These engines are rated in horsepower (HP) as they primarily provide a redundant source of mechanical power in support of electric motor-driven systems. The approximate generator electrical output ratings range from 108 kW to 1,250 kW (1.25 MW). The Supplier is expected to provide all required administration, supervision, tools, equipment and incidentals required to complete the Work.
