RFI - Novel or Multifunctional Fibers, Yarns, Coatings/Finishes and Fabrics for Soldier Protection and Comfort (MFFYF)

Description: The Army seeks information on novel or multifunctional fibers, yarns, coatings, finishes, and fabrics to improve Soldier protection and thermal or physical comfort. Areas of interest include moisture management, thermal protection, repellency, insect-vector protection, and flame resistance, with all approaches required to be PFAS-free. This active Sources Sought RFI is for information gathering and planning, not a grant program or formal RFP, and will not directly lead to a contract award.
