The scope of work consists of two schedules of work. Schedule A consists of construction of a 65-foot diameter, 3.0-million-gallon (MG) welded steel reservoir ("1400 Reservoir"). Schedule B consist of demolition of an existing 150,000-gallon elevated steel reservoir ("1100 Reservoir"). Schedule A consists of constructing a 3.0 MG welded steel reservoir that will include a wraparound staircase, inlet, outlet, drain, and overflow piping, active mixing system, access hatches and roof vents, level gauges, sample ports, access manways, a radio communication antenna, structural and electrical provisions for addition of a cell phone antenna on top of the reservoir, and an impressed current cathodic protection system; construction of a concrete masonry unit (CMU) building to include standing seam metal roof, electrical and control equipment, cathodic protection equipment, unit heater, dehumidifier, ventilation fan, water quality monitoring equipment (chlorine, pH, and temperature), inlet and outlet piping for the reservoir; seismic elements including Flex-Tend force-balanced flexible expansion seismic joints on inlet and outlet piping and incorporation of FLO-LOC seismic control equipment to control the flow of water out of the tank following a seismic event; Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) panel for communication, control, monitoring, and alarms of the tank site to be incorporated into the Owner's SCADA system; connections to existing water system; paved site access to the site from 124th Avenue SE; construction of a stormwater pond, on-site stormwater drainage, and a dispersion trench for the stormwater pond; site paving, grading, lighting, and security fencing; a new on-site diesel generator; and propane tank and accessories. Schedule B consist of demolition, removal and disposal wastehaul of the Owner's existing 1100 Reservoir, piping modifications, and site restoration.
