Request for Information (RFI) ETA Transit System

Description: Broward County is seeking information to determine whether ETA Transit Systems’ transit technology is available from multiple providers or whether an alternative can meet the County’s needs; this is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment. The described platform includes onboard computing with a Vehicle Logic Unit, cloud-based CAD/AVL, and SPOT/Route Manager functionality for GTFS management, announcements, destination signs, APC integration, and real-time vehicle tracking and data distribution. Vendors may submit information about their ability to meet or exceed the requirements or documentation contesting the proposed sole-source designation through the electronic bidding system.
