The work of this single bid project includes the full replacement of the roofing systems. Existing door and window thresholds, roof edges, brickwork, and other façade components require height modifications to work with the increase in roofing insulation. Ancillary work includes removing and replacing skylights, ladders, and roof hatches, and providing a new safety tie off system. HVAC equipment will need to be removed to allow for the roofing work and then reinstalled afterwards. There is no hazardous material abatement work necessary.

Work includes removal of existing EPDM roofing and insulation, replace with new insulation to improve energy efficiency and new roofing system. Replace exhaust hoods, curbs, walkway pads and other rooftop accessories as required. Coordination with cellular carriers to relocate & support their equipment, conduits, and cables to perform roof replacement while maintaining their operation. JFT roof areas include main roof, penthouse roof, two stairwell roofs, connecting bridge roof and lower terrace roof for a total of approx 5,000 SF. HAB roof areas include main roof and penthouse roof for a total of approx 5,600 SF.
