Description: The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, through its Purchasing Services Department on behalf of the UWSP Office of Sustainability, requests bids to purchase Renewable Energy Credits. The credits must be viable for offsetting Scope 2 emissions from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. They must meet EPA Green Power Partnership reporting requirements, including resource eligibility, new-renewables requirements, and green-power vintage requirements.

It seeks approximately 12,000–14,000 RECs annually, with RECs originating in MISO territory and preferably as close to Madison as possible; Green-e certification and tracking through an approved registry such as M-RETS are specified. Respondents are asked to describe sourcing, technology, additionality, and co-benefits and to provide annual and multi-year pricing options.
