Regional Water Supply Resiliency Project ("Secure the Source Project") - NDA Requirement

Description: Provide qualified companies (the "consultant") to provide the services of preliminary engineering study and 35 percent design in accordance with the requirements outlined in the 1986 water resources development act (wrda) section 203, as amended by the water resources reform and development act (wrda, 2014). Wrda is a biennial, bipartisan federal law that authorizes the US Army corps of engineers (usace) to study, plan, and construct projects in the corps' civil works program. Section 203 of wrda authorizes non-federal agencies to perform the above work for submittal to the assistant secretary of the army (asa) for them to request authorization by the u. S. Congress under a subsequent wrda bill for the design and construction of the recommended project.
